Do I Have a Recall on My Vehicle?

However, if you know your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), you can check to see what recalls your vehicle may have open at any time by entering it into the search feature on the Ford Philippines webpage, under the Owners - Field Service Action section.    

Your VIN can be found on your vehicle at the base of the windscreen (seen from the outside), or on the vehicle build and compliance labels that can be found on the right-hand (driver) side front or rear door openings. The VIN can also be found on documents such as registration papers. 

Please note, VINs are exactly 17 characters long and contain both numbers and letters. They must be an exact match. For example, the letter ‘O’ and number zero ‘0’ can sometimes be entered incorrectly, resulting in errors. 

Please confirm your VIN carefully before searching for a recall. You can find your VIN number by checking how to find VIN location.

1. Log in to the FordPass App.
2. Tap the Service screen.
3. Select the alert tile that appears at the top of the screen. 

Notes: 

• The Recall option will only appear if there is a recall associated with the vehicle.
• If there are multiple alerts for your vehicle, they are shown in order of priority. Recalls are first, then Customer Satisfaction Program(s) and Field Service Actions, followed by Vehicle Health Alerts.
• If you have more than one vehicle added to FordPass, only the notices specific to the selected vehicle will be displayed.
