How do I create a FordPass account?

Use the steps below to create your FordPass^® account. If you already have a Ford Account, you can log in using your existing account credentials (username and password) in the FordPass App.

Important: You do not have to create a new account if:

• You have a new device. Refer to Existing FordPass and New Device for steps on accessing your existing account. 
• You lost your device or if it was stolen. Refer to Device Lost for restoring steps.

Creating your FordPass Account

1. Download the FordPass App via your respective platform.
   • App Store^® for iOS^® devices.
   • Google Play^™ store for Android^™ devices.
2. Open FordPass on your device.
3. Enter your Mobile Number.
4. Tap Request Code to receive an Authentication Code via SMS.
5. Enter the code on FordPass in the Authentication Code field.
6. Tap Submit Code.
7. Enter your First Name and Last Name.
8. Enter your Email Address.
9. Create a Password. 
   • Below the password box a list of password rules displays.
   • Member's password must adhere to the app's rules for creating a password.
   • The rules include:
     • Cannot be the same as the mobile or username
     • Must be between 8 and 64 characters
     • Contains upper and lowercase letters
     • At least one number and one special character
10. Check the box to accept the Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy.
11. Tap Create Account.

You can now enter your mobile number and password on the FordPass login screen.
