TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Definitions
1.1. Ford means Ford Group Philippines, Inc.
1.2. Ford Dealer means an authorised Ford Dealer who participates in this program.
1.3. Ford Staff means an employee or contractor of Ford.
1.4. Dealer Staff means an employee or contractor of any Ford Dealer.
1.5. Ford Agency Staff means any employee, contractor or agency contracted by Ford.
1.6. Ford Website means [www.ford.com.ph]
1.7. Program means Ford’s online reservation program as described in these terms and conditions.
1.8. MSRP is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. Please contact your local dealer for detailed price information.
1.9. Online Reservation means the ability of the customer to submit a reservation to a Ford Dealer through the Ford Website [www.ford.com.ph]. Online reservation enables the customer to reserve the vehicle of interest on Ford’s online platform at any given time. Online reservation also gives the customer the ability to gain early access to Ford vehicles.
The Online Reservation is made based on MSRP and may be cancelled by either customer or by the Ford Dealer which the customer transacts with.
1.11. Reservation Amount means the amount that the customer pays to the selected Ford Dealer via the Ford Website [www.ford.com.ph] to reserve his/her vehicle.
1.12. Online Reservation Cancellation means the ability for the customer who reserved the vehicle to cancel a reservation through Ford Website and for Ford Dealer to cancel the reservation online through Ford Dealer’s system.
1.13. Registered Buying Order means the contract to purchase the vehicle between the customer and his/her selected Ford Dealer.
1.14. Vehicle means Ford vehicles available on Ford’s online reservation program.
2. Introduction
Ford is offering an option for customers to reserve vehicles online via the Ford Website, providing a convenient option for customers to reserve vehicles from anywhere and at their preferred time, without taking a trip to a Ford Dealer.
By participating in this Program, each customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Should customers prefer to reserve a vehicle directly at a preferred dealership, they may contact the preferred Ford Dealer as well.
3. Online Reservation Program Terms and Conditions
3.1. The Program includes various Ford nameplates. The Program period starts July 1, 2022. Ford reserves the right to update the Program’s information, including (but not limited to) Vehicles, pricing, program period, or participating Ford Dealers at any time.
3.2. Who may participate in the online reservation program?
3.2.1. This Program is available to private buyers including Ford Dealer employees, Ford employees and Ford Agency Staff.
3.2.2. A reservation for a vehicle made by a customer is non-transferable to another customer or Ford Dealer.
3.2.3. Ford Dealers are not allowed to reserve a vehicle on behalf of a customer. All reservations must be made by an individual customer on his/her own behalf.
3.3. Vehicle Pricing
3.3.1. The vehicle price shown for the Online Reservation will be the MSRP unless specified otherwise.
3.3.2. The selected Ford Dealer will provide customers with more details regarding the final price of the vehicle.
3.3.3. Vehicle(s) may be shown with optional accessories and/or equipment. Images shown are for information purposes only. Images used on this website may be of other Ford markets. Images may not necessarily represent the configurable options selected or available on the vehicle or the models shown.
3.3.4. Any given program may be cancelled at any time without notice. Please see your Ford Dealer for complete offer details or call the Ford Customer Relationship Centre at 1383 or 1-800-225-449 (Toll Free).
3.3.5. Ford is not responsible for typographical or other errors, including data transmission, display, or software errors, that may appear on the site.
3.4. Online Reservations
3.4.1. Online reservation provides customers with a convenient option to reserve vehicles through the Ford Website without taking a trip to a Ford Dealer. Customers may reserve a maximum of two (2) Ford vehicles via the program––one reservation per one vehicle.
3.4.2. To reserve a vehicle, the customer is required to visit the Ford Website, enter the preferred location, configure his/her vehicle, confirm the configuration, Register or Login to Ford Member Account, review the reservation information including the selected Ford Dealer or the preferred Ford Dealer, and pay the Reservation Amount.
3.5. Review Reservation Summary Information
3.5.1. The customer is responsible for reviewing the summary reservation information, which includes the suggested dealer, vehicle model, estimated price of the vehicle, and the Reservation Amount, before paying the Reservation Amount and completing the reservation.
3.5.2. A Ford Dealer is suggested based on the location entered by the customer to make it easy for him/ her to reserve.
3.5.3. The customer has an option to change to the preferred dealer before proceeding to the reservation payment.
3.5.4. After the Reservation Amount is paid and the Online Reservation is completed, the customer may still edit the vehicle selected and modify the following configurations:
3.5.4.1. Variant (i.e. Everest Titanium to Everest Sport)
Drivetrain (i.e. Everest Titanium+ 4x4 to Everest Titanium+ 4x2)
Color (Arctic White to Absolute Black)
3.5.4.2. Once edited, in the Ford Member account, the customer will not be able to make any changes on his/her reservation within 3 hours.
3.5.4.3. The customer will not have an option to edit his/her reservation in case the reservation status is “Cancelled”, “Dealer Cancelled” or “Offline.”
3.5.5. If the customer wants to change a dealer after the reservation is completed, the customer must cancel the reservation and create a new reservation.
3.6. Vehicle Price
3.6.1. The vehicle price in pre-launch online reservation program is based on the MSRP.
3.6.1. The MSRP for the vehicle will be calculated through the ‘Build & Price’ section of the Ford Website. Once the customer has completed the prior steps, the tentative price and Reservation Amount will appear.
3.6.2. The final price of the vehicle that the customer will be asked to pay to complete his/her purchase of the vehicle may be different from the MSRP. The final price must be agreed upon by the customer and the selected Ford Dealer to complete the buying process.
3.7. Paying A Reservation Amount
3.7.1. Ford reserves the right to set a Reservation Amount for each vehicle. Ford may change Reservation Amount per vehicle at any time.
3.7.2. The customer may cancel the Online Reservation with refund before signing a physical reservation contract with the selected Ford Dealer and before the status of the reservation changes to ‘Delivery Scheduled’.
3.7.3. The Ford Dealer accepts the Reservation Amount as a partial payment of the final vehicle price.
3.7.4. The Reservation Amount can only be paid for any one of the following payment methods: Credit Card, Debit Card, and e-wallets via the Online Reservation tool on the Ford Website [www.ford.com.ph]. No other forms of payment will be accepted.
3.7.5. By paying the Reservation Amount, the customer transacts directly with the selected Ford Dealer. Once paid, the Reservation Amount will be sent to the selected Ford Dealer automatically.
3.7.6. By paying the Reservation Amount, a customer is not yet ordering or purchasing a vehicle. An Online Reservation simply allows the customer to reserve a slot enabling him/her to purchase the vehicle of interest at a set date with his/her preferred Ford Dealer. The Ford Dealer will then reach out to contact the customer to assist with the buying process. More details about the Reservation Experience are described further in the Ford Online Reservation Terms and Conditions for the vehicle.
3.7.7. Payment of the Reservation Amount is a direct transaction between the customer and 2C2P.
3.7.8. By proceeding with the Online Reservation, the customer accepts this Ford Online Reservation Terms & Conditions and Payment Terms & Conditions of 2C2P (available at https://www.ford.com.ph/payment-terms-and-conditions/).
3.7.9. In case of cancellation of Online Reservation, the full Reservation Amount will be refunded to the customer via 2C2P.
3.7.10. For issues related to Payment Methods such as cancellations, returns and refunds, product functionality or technical support, the customer may contact Ford customer support or 2C2P.
3.8. Online Reservation Confirmation & Next Steps
3.8.1. The selected Ford Dealer shall contact the customer offline to confirm the final price & and sign the reservation contract.
3.8.2. To serve as reference for the customer when interacting with the selected Ford Dealer to complete the buying process, the customer requires the reservation reference number, vehicle model, Reservation Amount paid, and the selected Ford Dealer.
3.8.3. The customer’s information provided in the reservation process, together with the reservation details will be sent to the selected Ford Dealer. The Ford Dealer will guide the customer through the next steps to complete the purchase process.
3.8.4. The selected Ford Dealer should contact the customer within seven (7) business days of the date of customer’s reservation.
3.8.5. After the final price has been agreed on between the customer and his/ her selected Ford Dealer, and a reservation contract is signed, the Ford Dealer will work to fulfill the customer order.
3.9. Online Reservation Cancellation
3.9.1. The customer may cancel a reservation and receive a full refund through Manage Reservation.
3.9.2. The customer can also request the Dealer to cancel the reservation prior to signing a physical reservation contract with the selected Ford Dealer. The customer may request for the cancellation before the status of the reservation changes to ‘Delivery Scheduled’. Contact your local dealer for full program details. Some restrictions/conditions may apply.
3.9.3. If the customer cancels the reservation online in accordance with item 3.9.2 above, the Reservation Amount will be refunded automatically. The Reservation Amount will be transferred from Ford Dealer’s Merchant account to the customer’s original form of payment directly within four (4) weeks.
3.9.4. If the customer requests a Ford Dealer’s support to cancel a reservation, the Ford Dealer may cancel the reservation on behalf of the customer.
3.10. Completing the physical reservation contract with the selected Ford Dealer & Delivery.
3.10.1. By participating in this Program, customers agree and understand that the Ford Dealer may require additional fees as part of the Registered Buying Order (or other purchase documentation) for the vehicle with the Ford Dealer.
3.10.2. The customer’s name on the Registered Buying Order for the vehicle with the Ford Dealer must match the name on the vehicle reservation. If the name is different, Ford reserves the right to cancel the reservation and order.
3.10.3. By participating in this Program, each customer agrees that Ford may use and disclose personal information provided by the customer for the purpose of conducting this Program (including, if necessary, the Ford Dealer sharing the Registered Buying Order with Ford); and any of the purposes set out in Ford’s privacy policy (available at https://www.ford.com.ph/privacy-policy/ ) which contains information about how customers may access and seek correction of their personal information or complain about a breach of their privacy and how Ford will deal with that complaint.
3.10.4. In the event the selected Ford Dealer is unable to provide the customer with the exact vehicle they have built and reserved, the selected Ford Dealer must provide the customer with alternative vehicle option(s). The customer may choose to accept or reject these alternatives.
3.10.5. Should the customer reject these alternatives and not proceed with their reservation, the selected Ford Dealer must refund the Reservation Amount to the customer.
3.10.6. Ford reserves the right to deactivate the Program for the vehicle at any time.
3.10.7. Ford reserves the right to add, vary or remove terms, conditions and criteria at any time (whilst providing appropriate notice to the customer). Should the program be incapable of running as planned, Ford reserves the right to take any action that may be available to resolve the issue. Any action taken, or decisions made by Ford in relation to the Program and these terms and conditions, are final and binding.
3.10.8. After the customer has finalized the Registered Buying Order with their selected Ford Dealer, the order for their vehicle is considered by Ford to be ‘confirmed’.
3.10.9. Ford understands and agrees that each customer has rights under the RA 7394 - Consumer Act of the Philippines of 1991 and other similar legislations which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by Ford. These rights include a statutory guarantee that any services provided by Ford and/or Ford Dealers will be rendered with due care and skill and that any goods will be of acceptable quality. These terms and conditions do not exclude, restrict or modify those statutory rights in any way.
3.10.10. Neither the customer nor Ford will not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these terms and conditions to the extent such failure or delay is caused by any circumstance not within the reasonable control of the affected party.
