Is my Vehicle Under Warranty?

The warranty starts on the date of registration for a Dealership demonstrator or Service/Parts loan vehicle. For a non-dealership demonstrator or Service/Parts loan vehicle, the warranty starts on the date the customer took delivery of the vehicle.

Every new Ford vehicle is backed by the Ford Express New Vehicle Limited Warranty. This coverage ensures that any component requiring repair or replacement due to a manufacturing defect is serviced free of charge by a Ford Authorized Dealer.

To provide ongoing peace of mind, this warranty is attached to the vehicle itself; it remains valid and fully transferable to subsequent owners for the duration of the coverage period.

Warranty Coverage Periods

The duration of your warranty depends on your specific vehicle model:

Standard Warranty: Most new Ford vehicles are covered for 3 years or 100,000 km, whichever occurs first.
Extended Model Warranty: To enhance the ownership experience, the Ford Everest, Ford Ranger, Ranger Raptor, and Ford Territory are covered by an extended warranty of 5 years or 150,000 km, whichever occurs first.

Commencement of Coverage

The warranty start date is determined by the vehicle's initial use case:

Standard Retail Vehicles: Coverage begins on the date the customer takes delivery of the vehicle.
Demonstrator or Service Loaner Vehicles: Coverage begins on the date the vehicle was first registered by the dealership.
