Why is there Mileage on a New Vehicle?

All vehicles delivered as new will normally have some accumulated mileage. 

This mileage can vary due to several factors, including quality assurance checks conducted at the assembly plant, vehicle movement during transportation from the assembly plant to the selling dealership, inter-dealership transfers to fulfill specific customer orders, pre-delivery quality inspections performed at the Dealership, and potential demonstration drives by previous customers.
