What is Deep Sleep Mode?

Deep Sleep Mode is a power-saving feature for your vehicle. It activates under the following conditions:

  • The vehicle's battery charge is below 40%.
  • The vehicle has not been manually started in 14 days.

When active, a Deep Sleep Mode banner displays at the top of FordPass®. All connected features are either greyed out or unavailable.

To deactivate Deep Sleep Mode, start your vehicle manually and shift it into Drive. Remote Start through FordPass does not count toward keeping a vehicle out of Deep Sleep Mode.
