Which remote features are available to use with my smartwatch and FordPass?

When using your smartwatch with FordPass, you have direct access to some of your remote commands, including start and unlock. Review the details below for more information. 

Important: For Android users, FordPass is only compatible with Wear OS by Google support. 

Available Features

• Remote start
• Remote lock/unlock
• Remote activation of horn and lights
• Vehicle location
• Fuel level indicator (internal combustion engine [ICE] vehicles only)
• Battery level (electric vehicles [EV] only)
• Current vehicle range
• Charging status (EV and plug-in hybrid vehicles only)
  • Unplugged 
  • Plugged
  • Target Charge

Note: Remote start and lock/unlock are only available on vehicles equipped with FordPass Connect. 

Requirements

• You must have the FordPass App installed on your smartphone. 
• Your smartphone that contains the FordPass App must be connected to your smartwatch via Bluetooth. 
• You must have a vehicle added to FordPass.
• Your modem must be activated.
