How do I change my Ford app username?

You can change your Ford app username right in the Ford app in Settings.

Important: In order to change your Ford app username, you must set up device security. This is native Android/iOS security that may include:

  • Touch ID
  • Face ID
  • PIN/Password
  • Pattern Entry

Changing Your Username

  1. Log in to the Ford app.
  2. Go to the Home landing page.
  3. Tap the Account icon.
  4. Select the Settings tile.
  5. Tap Change Username.
  6. Confirm your identity using your mobile device's security settings.
  7. Type your new username.
  8. Tap Send Code. 

    Note: Ford sends a verification code via text message.
     
  9. Enter the code in the Ford app.
  10. Tap Save.
  11. Select Return to Login once the Success Screen displays.
  12. Use your new Username and existing password to log in to the Ford app.
