M&S Finance Analyst (Fixed Marketing)
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- College graduate – Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- With at least 3 years of experience
- High proficiency with computer applications (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), QAD
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong finance skills in month-end processes, forecasting and reporting.
- Business Acumen and professionalism with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues in all functional areas of the Company required.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and good planning skills
- Team player, enthusiastic, cooperative, and has positive behavior
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- KFS, QAD, IVMR and PACE training
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supports the Product Program team in the preparation of the Pricing Approval Paper and Market Equations by providing the financial analysis showing the profitability of the vehicle.
- Prepares annual budget for gross revenue (SRP, dealer margin, Ford Academy Fund), inventory and vehicle cost of sales (transfer price, duties, freight and logistics cost, warranty) and calculates financials for annual Pricing Strategy.
- Performs monthly financial closing activities related to gross revenue and vehicles cost of sales, account reconciliation of inventory accounts and proper assessment of accruals for sold & stock units
- Prepares monthly forecast for SRP, transfer price, duties freight and logistics, warranty, calculate the profit impact/variance of the changes made
- Loads actuals and forecast in PACE and IVMR system and ensures accuracy of data
- Analyzes significant reserves and prepares adequacy reports for Freight and Warranty
- Computes and updates WSD (Wholesale to Dealer) Prices, Lease Fees, and VIP (Vehicle Incentive Program) prices and loads them in the system
- Assists invoicing team (SP&D) regarding invoicing concerns and QAD set up of vehicles related to wholesale invoicing.
- Leads the finance role for launch of new system related to invoicing
- Performs monthly audit trail for standard costs and pricing updates in QAD.
- Prepares monthly regional reports for pricing, freight and inventory
- Performs regular monitoring and updating of transfer prices in the system to ensure that all transfer prices loaded in the system are current prices
- Prepares monthly Finished Vehicle Inventory report as well forecast and variance analysis
- Performs quarterly physical count of company service vehicle
- Analyzes and reports inventory status during quarterly corporate inventory meeting with key stakeholders.
- Prepares monthly close and forecast of FGP Inventory accounts
- Supports company vehicle inventory monitoring, disposal and pricing and prepares Debit/Credit Memos for transactions
- Verifies wholesale invoices and posts them in the system
- Validates and approves Freight invoices for payment
- Periodically reviews processes to ensure efficiency and recommend improvements as necessary
